Hardly, and obviously not. I'd forgotten about the seen flag cache used
in making it easier to do scripts that back up. Besides, it's 30kloc.. ;-)

I read again through debconf's manpages, but couldn't find answers to my
questions. You can prepend a "Where can I find documenation about" to
every question, if you like:
- If a debconf question is manipulated by db_set, does that affect its
"seen" flag? And if it does, does it take effect
