Bug#883379: RFS: deepin-voice-recorder/1.3.6-1 [ITP]

Is there any possibility of renaming this directory to deepin-manual or deepin-manuals (if deepin-manual is already taken by the deepin-manual package)? I think dman is too generic and likely to be confused for something related to man-db. -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
Re: Bug#892213: Acknowledgement (RFS: bali-phy/3.0.1-1 [ITP])
My apologies, I meant to send an updated changelog to debian-mentors, not to file a second ITP. Should I just close the second bug? -BenRI On 03/06/2018 03:27 PM, Debian Bug Tracking System wrote: Thank you for filing a new Bug report with Debian. Bug#883379: RFS: deepin-voice-recorder/1.3.6-1 [ITP]
Hi Yangfl, Gianfranco, As previously explained by Yangfl, files in /usr/share/dman/ are richtext manuals intended to be read by deepin-manual (which is not in Debian Archive yet). "Dman" manual files contain some images, which made lintian aware that this is an arch-dep package with large arch-indep files. Splitting the package into "deepin-voice-recorder" and "deepin-voice-recorder-doc" might be an option. We could choose to remove all files under /usr/share/dman/ too. A third option is to keep everything intact since they do not harm at all. Personally I think all three approaches are acceptable. -- Regards, Boyuan Yang
