Re: python-easydev not moving to testing

Any hint what to do?

From the britney output [0]:

 trying: python-easydev
 skipped: python-easydev (0, 73, 237)
 got: 25+0: a-1:a-1:a-0:a-0:i-22:m-0:m-0:p-0:s-1
 * arm64: hinge

hinge depends on python-colormap which in turn depends on
python-easydev, and python3-easydev is the only binary package built
now.

python-colormap and its rdeps need to be removed from testing to unblock
the migration of python-easydev.

hinge is schedule for removal on November 28th, python-colormap is
scheduled for removal on December 2nd.

You can request binNMUs for the affected packages, the release team
recently did this for all the packages in unstable.

This issue was discussed on -devel last month, see:

You shouldn't use Multi-Arch: no, and instead override the erroneous
lintian tag if your -dev package is not Multi-Arch.

The next lintian release will fix the erroneous tag for non-Multi-Arch
-dev packages.

Please don't rely on josm for the javax.json classes.

Due to the difficulties getting JCS [0] and its dependencies [1]
packaged, I've not been able to update to any of the newer JOSM upstream
releases making the josm package increasingly irrelevant. And if I
remain unable to get JCS packaged, I'll have josm removed from the
