reason do you need that exact specific version of Python?
python binary package provides dh_python2 helper and that's why Leonardo
bumped minimum required python version. See also

even though upstream claims this module works with Python 3.4.1, it
requires at least Python 3.5 (due to "typing" module which is not
present in 3.4) so please bump X-Python3-Version to >= 3.5 and
