But, managing symbols for C++ code is notoriously hard, thus dropping them is not a problem. There's another issue, though. Thus: please mention packaging changes inside debian/changelog. Looks like your version of symbols is ok for gcc-10, but will fail for gcc-11. I guess we can worry once gcc default is bumped.
