Hello, traditionally, AMs have asked for a public bio to be posted to this list as a sort of introduction to the process once the applicant is approved.
With the nm.debian.org rewrite, and the move to one-click AM approvals, we lost that feature. We're about to get it back. Thanks to the work of Marco Bardelli, AMs can now add the short bio to the site database by clicking [edit] at the person's page (for example, [1]) The next bit in the site TODO list[2] is to use that information to send an email to this list.
