Sorry, this is not possible:

/etc/openoffice/psprint.conf is a conffile. conffile modification is
FORBIDDEN by either maintainer scripts or another package. We would make
it no conffile to be able to do that and even then there is risk
something breaks. And doing package interactions like that is a *bit*
late...

Just because it doesn't use libpaper. OOo 2.0 won't either but obey
LC_PAPAER environment variable and the default for !en_US is A4...
