Hi,

unmerge doesn't work on multipple bugs. So you accidentially reassigned
all of it to libreoffice. Fixing.

BTW: Also note libreoffice is already fixed since this morning:

LibreOffice in Sid

2019-01-25 Thread peterbraet

Hi,

Had some trouble with LibreOffice in Debian Sid. The updates were held
back. Removed LibreOffice and tried to reinstall it again, but that
failed, in Synaptic and in Terminal, Terminal output for "apt-get
install libreoffice":

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libreoffice : Depends: libreoffice-base but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libreoffice-calc but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libreoffice-core (= 1:6.1.5~rc1-1) but it is not
going to be installed
Depends: libreoffice-draw but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libreoffice-impress but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libreoffice-math but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libreoffice-report-builder-bin but it is not
going to be installed
Depends: libreoffice-writer but it is not going to be
installed
   Depends: libreoffice-avmedia-backend-gstreamer but it is
not going to be installed or
libreoffice-avmedia-backend-vlc but it is not
going to be installed
Depends: python3-uno (>= 4.4.0~beta2) but it is not going
to be installed
Recommends: libreoffice-librelogo but it is not going to
be installed
Recommends: libreoffice-nlpsolver but it is not going to
be installed
Recommends: libreoffice-report-builder but it is not
going to be installed
Recommends: libreoffice-script-provider-bsh but it is not
going to be installed
Recommends: libreoffice-script-provider-js but it is not
going to be installed
   Recommends: libreoffice-script-provider-python but it is
not going to be installed
Recommends: libreoffice-sdbc-postgresql but it is not
going to be installed
Recommends: libreoffice-wiki-publisher but it is not
going to be installed

E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Finally, I went to https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/
downloaded and installed libreoffice6.1 that way without any trouble,
because I really need LibreOffice.
This mail to notify you there is or was a problem with LibreOffice in
Sid. No problems in Stretch though ( wich I use on another computer )
only in Sid it had this behavior.

Cheers,
Peter Braet

The build of some packages of libreoffice failed, so apt can't properly
figure out what to do in that situation when only some of them are
available to be installed.

It's a temporary problem, that has been fixed earlier today (which means
you'd see the effects this evening or tomorrow).
https://bugs.debian.org/920331

That said, I wholeheartedly recommend you to not use sid if you can't
deal with this kind of situations that tend to happen every so often in
a development distribution like debian unstable/sid.
