Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from
'testing'.
It installed fine in 'testing', then the upgrade to 'sid' fails
because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a
Breaks+Replaces relation.

See policy 7.6 at
https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#overwriting-files-and-replacing-packages-replaces

I'm not sure whether Breaks+Replaces are the correct solution here, or
whether -common should rather not ship the file regardless of (not)
building -evolution ...
If you add B+R now, you will also need to add them in the opposite
direction once -evolutions gets reenabled.

Andreas

Bug#1065461: libreoffice-common: disabling libreoffice-evolution has moved evolocal.odb to libreoffice-common

The latter, imho.

ifeq "$(ENABLE_EVO2)" "y"
    mkdir -p $(PKGDIR)-evolution/$(OODIR)/presets/database
    mkdir -p $(PKGDIR)-evolution/$(OODIR)/share/registry
    mv $(PKGDIR)-common/$(OODIR)/presets/database/evolocal.odb \
    $(PKGDIR)-evolution/$(OODIR)/presets/database
else
    rm -f $(PKGDIR)-common/$(OODIR)/presets/database/evolocal.odb
endif

Added the else part just now.

If you add B+R now, you will also need to add them in the opposite
direction once -evolutions gets reenabled.

libphonenumber is fixed now, so I can re-enable it now and not have it
blocking builds.

But I need to do the Replaces: libreoffice-common in -evolution anyways now?

Regards,

Rene

Then you should have filed it upstream :). Didn't write the reportbug
text for no reason :)

Did now: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160033

When creating pdf files from odt files, soffice writes a CreationDate
field

which contains the actual build date/time. This varies with every build.
For an example, see the bottom of
https://tests.reproducible-builds.org/debian/rb-pkg/trixie/amd64/diffoscope-results/winff.html

soffice could use the creation date of the input odt file,
or even SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH instead of the current system date.

I think there wven was an option to actually not export this at all (or
I misremember) but it's probably not exposed to --convert-to etc. unless
extra configuration.

Anyway, forwarded.

Rene
