Bug#677484: libreoffice: Extrange behaviour on LibreOffice 3.5 menus
El 14/06/12 23:13, Rene Engelhard escribió: That might be, but huh? you wanted to chose something in a submenu, so what is the big problem if the main menu was overlapped by the submenu? Hello! As you can see, the big problem is the submenu does not allow to select main menú options. You must cancel selection, and then, try to select the submenú once again http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=33446 That is minor :) It is a no critical failure, but it indicates the menu drawing is not the same like the previous libreoffice versions. This mistake could suggest some others bugs related could exists. And... it is ugly and extrange to see one application draw his widgets in his own way... without desktop integration. :D And without compiz? Note that afaicr on the mls compiz is so buggy that it won't be in wheezy. But whether compiz is involved here is an important info. At least here (sid, gnome3 - in forced fallback mode, intel graphics) it works... With XFWM4 the shadows works, but the menu still appearing in wrong orientation. The shadow could be a Compiz error... I have the next configuration in Window Decoration plugin: Window Shadow: any (class=Tooltip | Menu | PopupMenu | DropdownMenu | dock | dialog | combo | splash | Unknown) | name=VCLSalFrame | name=gnome-panel | name=gkrellm Which has no image of your overlapping thing http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=33446 Regards, Rene Thank you Rene. ;) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-openoffice-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#677484: libreoffice: Extrange behaviour on LibreOffice 3.5 menus
Package: libreoffice Version: 1:3.5.4-3 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? Upgrading Libreoffice from 3.4 to 3.5. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? The libreoffice menu does not work properly. They raises from right to left instead from left to right. Sometimes the submenus are placed over the main menu, then it is impossible to read all options and make it inusable. I notice too that the new menus has no shadow. I use Copiz and all the apps are shadows on their menus, LibreOffice 3.4 and earlier version too, but 3.5 has not shadow at all. You can see these screenshot: http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=33224 http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=33223 * What outcome did you expect instead? I spect the libreoffice menu continue working as any user can spect: with his drop down shadows and expandin submenús from left to right. I hope you could help me to solve the problem. *** End of the template - remove these lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libreoffice depends on: ii fonts-sil-gentium-basic [ttf-sil-gentium-basic] 1.1-5 ii liblucene2-java 2.9.4+ds1-2 ii libreoffice-base 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-calc 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-core 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-draw 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-filter-mobiledev 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-impress 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-java-common 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-math 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-report-builder-bin 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-writer 1:3.5.4-3 ii ttf-dejavu 2.33-2 ii ttf-sil-gentium-basic1.1-5 Versions of packages libreoffice recommends: ii fonts-liberation [ttf-liberation] 1.07.2-2 ii libpaper-utils 1.1.24+nmu1 ii ttf-liberation 1.07.2-2 ii ttf-mscorefonts-installer 3.4+nmu1 Versions of packages libreoffice suggests: ii cups-bsd1.5.0-8 ii gcj-4.6-jre [java5-runtime] 4.6.3-1 ii gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg1:0.10.13-0.2 ii gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad 0.10.22-3 ii gstreamer0.10-plugins-base 0.10.35-1 ii gstreamer0.10-plugins-good 0.10.30-1 ii gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly 0.10.18-3 ii hunspell-dictionary none ii hyphen-hyphenation-patterns none ii icedove 3.1.16-1 ii iceweasel 10.0.5esr-1 ii imagemagick 8:6.7.7.2-1 ii java-gcj-compat [java5-runtime] 1.0.78-2 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1]7.11.2-1 ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.25-3 ii libreoffice-filter-binfilter1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-gnome 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-grammarchecknone ii libreoffice-help-3.5none ii libreoffice-kde 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-l10n-es [libreoffice-l10n-3.5] 1:3.5.4-3 ii libreoffice-officebean none ii libsane 1.0.22-6 ii libxrender1 1:0.9.7-1 ii myspell-en-us [myspell-dictionary] 1:3.3.0-3 ii myspell-es [myspell-dictionary] 1.11-4 ii mythes-en-us [mythes-thesaurus] 1:3.3.0-3 ii openclipart-libreoffice none ii pstoedit3.60-2+b1 ii sun-java6-jre [java5-runtime] 6.26-3 ii unixodbc2.2.14p2-3 Versions of packages libreoffice-core depends on: ii fontconfig 2.9.0-6 ii fonts-opensymbol [ttf-opensymbol] 2:2.4.3+LibO3.4.6-2 ii libc6 2.13-32 ii libcairo2 1.12.2-1 ii libcmis-0.2-0 0.1.0-1+b1 ii libcurl3-gnutls7.25.0-1 ii libdb5.1 5.1.25-11 ii libexpat1 2.1.0-1 ii libexttextcat0 3.2.0-2 ii libfontconfig1 2.9.0-6 ii libfreetype6 2.4.9-1 ii libgcc11:4.6.1-4 ii libglib2.0-0
