I was able to successfully boot debian installer on a old iBook 300
clamshell from an USB-key with two modifications regarding the
instructions on [1]:
1. I had to shorten the business card iso image name so it ended with
the propper extension name (.iso)
2. instead of issuing the command
Is there an ongoing effort to get the Cell SDK into Debian?
I saw a thread about it in February [1], but I haven't seen much
since. I would like to see this happen, so if people are working on
it, can I help? If it's not being worked on, does anyone want to help
me?

I'm interested in seeing Debian become a more mature distro for the ps3 myself.
I would like to learn to make deb packages for ps3 specific stuff like
ps3-utils. How Would I go about making a deb package for ps3-utils after
compiling it and building it from source? I already have a custom
