Hello everyone. I have been trying to compile the newest benh-2.4 kernel (25 I
think). Everything seems to go fine until the very end when I get this error:

OK, once again I begin at the beginning. I have tried to successfully install
Debian a good 20 times by now, but still haven't gotten things ironed out.
I've already looked at many of the web guides to install on a mac laptop (the

OK, tried switching my XF86Config-4 to /dev/input/mice, and the trackpad went

suggestions?

I'm running the benh-2.6.3 kernel, as well as XF86Config, that satadru

Well, ypu're probably right that this is my problem. Neither command came up
with any matches. My question now is where can I get this package? I installed
off of the mirrors.kernel.org source tree. Where did you get your version of
mol?
Thanks,

I had alsa working on my system, but the volume was extremely soft (I only
noticed it because of a soft ring during the KDE startup). After trying to

Thanks,

Great, mol is up and running, however, I still have some issue where the
screen pixels go crazy upon starting mol. What could be causing this. I have
attached my XF86Config-4 in case that provides any insight.

OK, I came across the mention of an article elaborating a way to write a

I know this problem could have numerous orirgins, but I haven't been able to get

I have had this problem in both the 2.6.3 and 2.6.5 kernels as well. I haven't
