Hi,
I'm trying to understand why python3-mastodon fails the unit tests.
An example is at [1] and it seems that importing magic is enough to trigger
it. The compat line is to handle both python3-magic and a libmagic module
both wanting magic.
Is this a cpython thing? I'm not sure what I can do to
Hi,
I was looking up some things to get dh-make to produce python3 only
templates. The idea being new packages into Debian should not be using
python2.
Anyway, I noticed that the Wiki needs some love, specifically the two

Hi All,
Just be careful with the bugs severity on complicated packages. I totally
get the python only packages that produce a single binary, go for it for
those.

upstream isn't changing it. In fact I am pretty sure they don't su

One question though, what happens if the package compat level is not the

If someone knows about a Debian package needing this module, let me know
and I'll endeavour to work with the maintainer to port it across to pysnmp.

icy, as I'm directly importing the upstreams git
repository, I inherit their tags. This means upsteam tags are "1.2.3"
not "upstream/1.2.3" I don't know if there is a way to do tag mangling;
it's certainly past my git knowledge.
