Here what I found interesting:

 * Lintian complains about "font-in-non-font-package" and
   "font-outside-font-dir". Why do you ship .ttf font in examples
   directory?

 * Policy is slightly outdated.

 * In debian rules, instead of "cat PKG-INFO | sed ..." you can use
   $DEB_VERSION_UPSTREAM. See /usr/share/dpkg/pkg-info.mk. By the way,
   it is useless-use-of-cat.

 * You can use B-D: debhelper-compat (= 11). Why not 12, by the way?

[I am no DD]

In Description: of python3-nameparser last line:

   This package contains fuzzywuzzy for Python3.
 ^^
   What is that?

[federico.cera...@gmail.com: Bug#771683: python-pygithub: Conflicts with github-cli]

2014-12-19 Thread Dmitry Bogatov
Hello!

I attached a bug report and would like to ask you to rename this
`github` directory, since renaming application internals would create
less havoc, than renaming library public module.

Also, please evaluate difference between cligh and github-cli.
On glance it seems, that cligh(I maintain it) is more generic.

* * * *

To @debian-python: I sent this message two weeks ago or so privately to
maintainer, and did not received response. Either it got lost(so now it
have second chance), either maintainer is too busy, in which case I
would like to ask team to take action instead.

Another option would be just add `Conflicts`, but I find it
unreasonable.

Hi and thank you for packaging Pygithub

The package conflicts with https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/github-cli

They are both using the same "github" namespace:
 /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/github/
