Hi,

The package pypoker-eval uses debhelper with a compat level of 4,
which is deprecated and scheduled for removal.

 * Please bump the debhelper compat at your earliest convenience.
   on the 15th of June.
   - Compat 9 is recommended
   - Compat 5 is the bare minimum
   - If the package has been relying on dh_install being lenient about
missing files, please see "MIGRATING TO COMPAT 5 OR LATER" in [1].

 * Compat level 4 will be removed on the first debhelper upload after
   the 15th of June.

Thanks,
~Niels

Dear Maintainer,

the Standards-Version field of your source package contains the value
"5", but the newest Debian Policy release is only at 3.9.6. So you seem
to know about Debian Policies from the future… :-)

I suspect you mixed up the debhelper compatibility from debian/compat (4
in your case, but it build-depends on debhelper >= 5.something) with the
Standards-Version field which declares compliance with the given version
of the Debian Policy.

Package: poker-eval
Version: 138.0-1

While building the package using our research compiler infrastructure we noticed
that the following declarations and definitions don't match:

./include/deck_astud.h:extern POKEREVAL_EXPORT const char
AStudDeck_rankChars[AStudDeck_Rank_LAST+1];
./lib/deck_astud.c:const char AStudDeck_rankChars[] = "%789TJQKA";

with AStudDeck_Rank_LAST eventually being defined as 12. Note, however, that the
initialisation requires 14 characters (including the terminating '\0').

Best,
Michael

Hi, Mattia,

Some years ago I was playing with python-uniconvertor and a possible
python-sk1libs package, when looking at https://bugs.debian.org/699301.

What I did is still available from

https://anonscm.debian.org/git/users/agmartin/TMP/python-sk1libs.git
https://anonscm.debian.org/git/users/agmartin/TMP/python-uniconvertor.git

(links updated, those at #699301 no longer work).

Since I am not fluent at all with python, I did not prepare a QA package for
it and left things there in case someone with the required skills wanted to
look at original sources and my hackish and not so hackish changes.

I noticed python-uniconvertor upload, but since I was not using it, did not
notice that something was not included with it.

Anyway, here goes the info in case it is useful.

Regards,

copying as a patch it not really feasible, as it's not feasible to do it
