this issue is quite puzzling. we've updated a few of our user's debian
boxes, and kdm is a common package that gets upgraded. now, kdm greets
our users normally, but when they login, they are briefly taken to a
generic gray xserver screen, and then almost immediately

I've just upgraded my kdelibs following a debian security announcement,
and the the folder selection by typing its name in the move message to
folder dialogue box has stopped working in kmail.
In the dialogue box now the only keys that have any
