I find that Kmail does not apply filters to new mail in other folders
than the inbox. This should really be possible.
For instance, my mail server puts all spam in a spam folder, and I
want a filter to ignore those mails so that they don't add

enabled it in the settings. It doesn't seem to matter whether I select
