ksystemlog_4.1.4-1_amd64.deb: package says section is admin,
override says kde.
Both these isn't in any way kde. they just use kde libraries.

Well, the thing about a black hole - it's main distinguishing
section is libs, override says kde.
A library.

Headers and .so symlinks and such. clearly a devel package.

Good news!
The recent KDE-3.2.1 update has fixed this bug.
I don't know whether (as only a user) I'm supposed tag the bug or
anything. Could someone enlighten me and/or close the bug please.

How did you start kprinter? If kprinter thinks it should
read stdin, kprinter hangs after pressing 'Print'. Using ^D
in the shell window, kicks kprinter back to life.
I started it in several ways. First of all using it from an application
(e.g. kjots and kate). Then by trying to do

When I attempt to print anything from kprinter, the program
locks up when I press the print button. I've tried printing
a .ps file which prints fine using lp from cups, printing from
kate and kjots. I've tried printing to my printer and
