You can see that there is a devices.desktop file in the dir
/home/emi/.kde/share/apps/konqsidebartng/virtual_folders/services that
belong to your old kde 3.3 settings.
You could change it to link to media:/ and not devices:/
It's simple.
If you create a new user, this file is not generated, so
