Yes, no kaddressbook starts without crashing, thanks.
However, it still does not work. On a mate-based system, when it starts
it says:
The Akonadi personal information management service is not running.
This application cannot be used without it. [Start]
When I press the [Start] button I get

After todays big akonadi-upgrade to 4:18.08.1 the problem
with kaddressbook is gone; more: the previous buggy-looking
libkf5kontactinterface5 (18.08.1-1) is now needed to make
kaddressbook (4:18.08.1-1) work.
Probably the Breaks of libkf5kontactinterface5 should be
fixed:
