The release process for squeeze has been underway for a little over 12
hours now; it's rather too late to get any more changes in, I'm afraid.
Unfortunately, the bug report was

Yes, but right now (as of yesterday on my system), this renders the
package uninstallable, which really screws with the appearance of GTK
apps under KDE. Perhaps that should make it a higher priority? Or
maybe I'm just self-centered ;)

Nope - the transition isn't finished until libminiupnpc5 is no longer in
testing. It's currently being kept there by transmission, which is in
turn waiting for glib2.0.
I was going to re-open the bug, but hopefully both transmission and
glib2.0 will transition in tonight's britney run,
