The upload seems to be not a pure changelog only change. The tpu upload
has a debian/patches/system/ffmpeg.patch that's not in unstable. Was
that a mistake or care to elaborate?

Paul

I think that's backwards - the tpu upload (as well as my
bookworm-security uploads) lacks the ffmpeg.patch that's in the unstable
uploads, because they're built from clean git clones.

The sid upload has the ffmpeg.patch by mistake. It's not in git (anymore
-
https://salsa.debian.org/chromium-team/chromium/-/commit/510d9a6ed4586737bc20284fafab402ec682ed5e
), and I need to delete it from the sid uploads. Recently I started
testing to see if, now that we're not building chromium for bullseye
anymore, I could reasonably start building against the system ffmpeg
again. I never finished testing, and that patch got left in.

Thanks for you patience. Please feel invited to request this path sooner
next time when the unstable status delays security fixes landing in
testing for more than several days.

Given the time_t transition, several folks have requested chromium
updates via t-p-u. The current version in testing (122.0.6261.57-1) has
20 CVEs that are fixed in newer versions, as well as another pretty
serious bug (#1066910). I'd like to go ahead and upload
123.0.6312.105-1~deb13u1 to trixie.

No packaging changes between 123.0.6312.105-1 (currently in sid) and
123.0.6312.105-1~deb13u1, other than the d/changelog entry:

chromium (123.0.6312.105-1~deb13u1) trixie; urgency=high

  * Rebuild for trixie.
