ruby-rugged 0.27.0 is installed, though.



gitaly required ruby-rugged 0.27 and hence I updated ruby-rugged to 
0.27. I'm in the process of updating gitlab to 10.7.3 which will work 
with ruby-rugged 0.27.

maintained within the Debian Ruby Team (and not in pkg-security):

You should in particular follow the instructions here:

Hopefully someone from the ruby team can double check your package
and integrate it for you.
