[PATCH 2/2] deb-pkg: Add automatic support for s390x architecture

2013-10-06 Thread Ben Hutchings
The Debian s390x architecture has 64-bit userland whereas s390 has 32-bit userland. A 64-bit kernel can be used with either. Now that Debian supports multiarch and officially supports s390x, it makes more sense to assign a 64-bit kernel package to s390x. Signed-off-by: Ben Hutchings --- script

Hi Niels, I don't know upto what point you are familiar with my history and its link to the powerpc port, but it pains me to see that the powerpc port is left with so few porters, and that it may mean the port being dropped. I also have not really followed the mailing lists since a long time,

Build failure of postgres-xc

2013-10-06 Thread Michael Meskes
Hi, I just noticed that Postgres-XC doesn't build on S390. However, Postgresql, which Postgres-XC is based on, builds just fine. Could anyone of you give me a pointer where I should look or tell upstream to look? I hope you've seen similar problems before. The log is here: https://buildd.debian.
