Unfortunately python3 is not supported by the framework.
I just uploaded a new version of the package, without the python2 library.

https://github.com/robotology/robot-testing-framework/issues/37 is open
since 2015.
Looks like nobody was able to port the C code to the new API.
The bindings are disabled upstream ane re-enabled in d/rules.

I've not looked carefully at this package at all, but this one stood out:

Now is not the time to be introducing things that depend on Python 2, given 
that Python 2 is almost completely removed from the next release of Debian. 
Can this package support Python 3 instead? If not, can the Python 2 bindings 
be omitted? (Perhaps upstream would like some help in porting the code to 
Python 3?)
