The two files mentioned are released under the MIT license instead of
BSD-3-Clause.

I believe there is a typo in your debian/rules (override_dh_auto_reconf ->
override_dh_autoreconf).
I don't believe this affects the working of the package, but if anyone
in the future added the "dh $@ --with=autoreconf"

unfortunately I have to reject your package.
The license of OptionParser.lua and init.lua doesn't seem to be BSD3,
so please mention them in your debian/coypright.
