Source: fcl
Version: 0.5.0-1
Severity: serious
Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)

The mips build of fcl failed with a timeout in test_fcl_octomap,
likely due to a hang. Could you please take a look?

Thanks!
--- End Message ---
--- Begin Message ---
I've add a verbose option to test (so we can get more information about
what is failing on MIPS) but looks like the revision 0.5.0-2 (at least
temporary) fix the problem.

because upstream do it. I have realized today that lz4 is embed. I'll contact

2016-08-30 Thread Gianfranco Costamagna
Hi Julien,

>fplll (5.0.1-1) experimental; urgency=medium

the package seems to have FTBFS on some release architectures,
and probably will fail more once every arch has been picked up by
a buildd.
Please take care of the failures before asking a transition slot.
(even if you are not planning to ask for it, the package will migrate
once all the architectures have been built)

thanks,

G.

Bug#836130: trilinos: FTBFS on non-x86 32-bit architectures

2016-08-30 Thread Aaron M. Ucko
Source: trilinos
Version: 12.6.4-1
Severity: serious
Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)

Thanks for looking into #835406! trilinos now successfully builds on
i386 and x32, and the builds for other 32-bit architectures don't fail
as quickly as they used to, but they nevertheless remain broken (at
least on mips, mipsel, and powerpc -- builds for other architectures
are still in progress):

seems that kido was already linking the correct libraries, but the testsuite
wasn't.
with your great help fixing became trivial.

BTW, why are you shipping a bundled lz4 library? this is against Debian policy,
please
consider using the system version.

Bug#836073: root-plugin-math-minuit2: missing symlink for ROOT librariesroot-plugin-math-minuit2: missing symlink for ROOT libraries

2016-08-30 Thread Danny van Dyk
Package: root-plugin-math-minuit2
Version: 5.34.19+dfsg-1.2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

When installing root-plugin-math-minuit2, I noticed a problem when linking
against libMinuit2.so.
Using LIBDIR=$(root-config --libdir), you are pointed to
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-
gnu, which contains a symlink

   libMinuit2.so.5.34 -> root5.34/libMinuit2.so.5.34

Linking with 'g++ -lMinuit2 -L$(LIBDIR) [...]' then fails, since $(LIBDIR)
does
not contain the libMinuit2.so.

Please add symlinks 'libMinuit2.so -> libMinuit2.so.5', and
'libMinuit2.so.5 -> libMinuit2.so.5.34', as is usual for shared objects.

One should probably audit all ROOT packages against this bug.

(This was first discovered on Ubuntu, see Ubuntu Bug #1180808).

Yours faithfully,
Danny van Dyk

Justification: fails to build from source

Builds of trilinos for architectures other than amd64 have been
failing; please either address these errors or set its Architecture
field accordingly.  Specifically:

- On 32-bit architectures such as i386, there are errors related to
  type usage, starting with

   oldval.i = ::Kokkos::atomic_compare_exchange( (unsigned long long
int*)dest , assume.i , newval.i );

- On 64-bit architectures other than amd64, there are errors related
  to the use of x86 assembly:

  /tmp/ccSfso5b.s: Assembler messages:
  /tmp/ccSfso5b.s:2095: Error: unknown mnemonic `lock' -- `lock incl[x1,88]'

During a rebuild of all packages in sid using the gcc-defaults package
available in experimental to make GCC default to version 6, your package failed
to build on amd64. For more information about GCC 6 and Stretch, see:
