I know there is a mechanism of some kind to cause daemons to
restart when libraries they use are being replaced; is that just
for libc updates, or something?
Thanks,

P.S. If you Cc: me in your reply, I'll see it sooner.
Hi all,
For openscap, you can also check these pages:

Hi all!
I've updated dhcpig to suppress the dependency to go-md2man. This
allows the build on non-linux hosts (hurd, kfreebsd...). If any of the
DDs have some time to review the update ?

Hello !
I've updated dhcpig to support the upstream version 1.5 in uscan and
properly use pristine-tar in the git repository.
I've also updated the vcs fields and the lintian warns.
Can one of the team DD check the update ?
Cheers,

Philippe.
Hi !
Thanks ! I didn't know we could do that. I'll check this evening and inform you
after.
I've also updated scap-security-guide to 0.1.39. It should be ok (build and
piuparts ok).

Hi Phil,
Re,
I took a look on current upstream release, the bug is already patched in
the future 0.1.11.
We just have to wait for this release.

Hi Phil,
Hi Raphael,
I believe that you should not restrict openscap-daemon to a specific
Python version. This is useless work that needs to be undone rather
soon since
Python 3.7 aims to be the default.
It's perfectly OK if there's a bug open
I take a look on it

Hi Raphaël,
This should be okay now (add ssg-base to the requirement). I also
updated the debci tests.
As I didn't manage to resolve properly the sysvinit retrocompat test, I
commented (explicitely) the problem in the testfile and make it returns
0 without testing by now.
I've pushed to
Hi Raphaël,
Sorry I mis-understood what Pierre means, I thought it was a part of openscap
itself (not openscap daemon).

Hello Raphaël,
I took a look on the bug. The problem is that there is no more
cpe-oval.xml file in libopenscap8.
The /usr/share/openscap/cpe/ dir is empty, only keeping a README
explaining the following:
--[snip]--
This folder contains the default CPE dictionary
DM marked. Thanks !
