Try installing and booting an older kernel first:
# wget
http://snapshot.debian.org/archive/debian-ports/2019
Also got a kernel panic with vsftpd.
Is this with the SMP kernel?
You should try the normal one first, it works very stable on my V215.
I get crashes all over the the place with the SMP kernel.
Unfortunately, that means you'll only have one CPU available...

You can fetch the key with GPG which should be installed:
# gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-k

That shouldn't be a problem, you only need to make sure that your
apt.sources contains the debian-

Last year I tried to netboot a V120 and V210 and failed spectacularly on both
with CPU lockups and network timeouts.
Net booting Solaris still worked fine without an error however.
I managed to find a scrap V240 with tonne of corrosion and moved the DVD drive
from that system to
