Hi,
I think I figured out the problem. The culprit
seems to be in the file
/etc/emacs/site-start.d/50prcs.el in the
highlighted line
(if (string-match "^19." emacs-version) <<===
(setq load-path (nconc load-path

The problem persists. I removed my prcs and
reinstalled it. The installation gave the following messages:

Hi,
My slink xemacs-nomule tries to load the prcs.el
package whenever I load any file.
However, this file doesn't seem to be a part of
any of the following:
xemacs20-bin
xemacs20-nomule
xemacs20-support
emacs19-el
emacs19
emacsen-common
How do I fix this? I'm assuming if someone c

FYI.
I upgraded my lab machine today to slink. The NIS docu

Is this egcs-g++ from a slink package? It did strike me as
odd that the egcc --version and g++ --version on my
system differ.

Can someone figure this out? The most trivial C++ program
crashes. ( main(){} )
The link between the compiler and libc6 seems fishy.
I have a slink system, with both libstdc++2.8 and
libstdc++2.9.
