I do not understand this. Why isn't kanjidic installed? Not that I need this
particular package, but this _should_ work, shouldn't it? I use slink,
kernel 2.0.36 on a pentium-based system. (the below was cut-n-pasted from an
xterm. I only changed the prompt.)



# dselect install

Get currently installed package versions.............(etc)

Got 408 installed/pending packages

Scanning available packages....................(etc)

Installation OK. Hit RETURN.

# dpkg --status kanjidic

Package: kanjidic

Status: install ok not-installed

Priority: optional

Section: non-free/text
