Hallo, ich versuche verzweifelt, bei meinem Board (Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 mit SIL 3112 SATA-RAID) ein raid aufzusetzen.
Mein System erkennt meine zwei SATA-Platten als /dev/sda und /dev/sdb. Im Bios habe ich Raid1 eingestellt und eine der Platten gespiegelt (Das Bios bietet dafuer eine Option, dann wird aus der zweiten Platte eine exakte Kopie der ersten). Leider werden trotzdem beide Platten von System behandelt wie zwei SCSI-Platten. Wenn ich auf /dev/sdaX was aendere, zieht die entsprechende Partition auf /dev/sdbX nicht automatisch mit. Ich verwende Kernel 2.6.8-1-k7 mit einer aktuellen Sarge. Waere schoen, wenn mir jemand sagen koennte, wie ich diesen Raid-Controller nutzen kann. Ist es nun eigentlich ein Hardware-Raid oder ein Software Raid? Wenn Hardware, warum sehe ich dann 2 Platten? Danke im Voraus. Martin Hier noch ein paar Zusatz-Informationen (lsmod/lcpci/uname/dmesg): [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo lsmod Module Size Used by raid1 17536 0 md 49544 1 raid1 ipv6 262340 8 amd74xx 14108 1 shpchp 100780 0 pciehp 97388 0 pci_hotplug 34352 2 shpchp,pciehp snd_intel8x0 36140 0 snd_ac97_codec 69572 1 snd_intel8x0 snd_pcm 97480 1 snd_intel8x0 snd_timer 25540 1 snd_pcm snd_page_alloc 11720 2 snd_intel8x0,snd_pcm snd_mpu401_uart 8000 1 snd_intel8x0 snd_rawmidi 25380 1 snd_mpu401_uart snd_seq_device 8264 1 snd_rawmidi snd 57380 7 snd_intel8x0,snd_ac97_codec,snd_pcm,snd_timer,snd_mpu401_uart,snd_rawmidi,snd_seq_device tsdev 7360 0 mousedev 10444 1 joydev 9856 0 usbhid 32000 0 ohci_hcd 21380 0 nvidia_agp 7836 1 agpgart 34536 1 nvidia_agp analog 11872 0 gameport 4736 2 snd_intel8x0,analog parport_pc 35328 0 parport 41544 1 parport_pc floppy 60304 0 pcspkr 3688 0 evdev 9600 0 ehci_hcd 31364 0 usbcore 118308 5 usbhid,ohci_hcd,ehci_hcd i810_audio 37204 0 ac97_codec 18700 1 i810_audio soundcore 10400 2 snd,i810_audio r8169 17604 0 crc32 4352 1 r8169 capability 4616 0 commoncap 7296 1 capability ide_generic 1472 0 ide_cd 42528 0 ide_core 138788 3 amd74xx,ide_generic,ide_cd cdrom 40284 1 ide_cd rtc 12728 0 ext2 71720 1 ext3 126760 2 jbd 61784 1 ext3 mbcache 9220 2 ext2,ext3 sd_mod 21632 5 sata_sil 8004 4 libata 41348 1 sata_sil scsi_mod 124620 2 sd_mod,libata unix 28596 114 font 8448 0 vesafb 6688 0 cfbcopyarea 3776 1 vesafb cfbimgblt 3072 1 vesafb cfbfillrect 3712 1 vesafb [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo lspci 0000:00:00.0 Host bridge: nVidia Corporation nForce2 AGP (different version?)
