Re: No puedo cambiar resolución de pantalla
Hice un "upgrade kernel" añadiendo al sources.list deb http://mirror.one.com/debian/ jessie-backports main contrib non-free apt-get update apt-get install -t jessie-backports linux-image linux-image-amd64 me instalo el kernel Linux 4.9.0-0.bpo.3-amd64 pero cuando carga me quedo con un pantallazo y de ahí no sale. Corregidme si me equivoco, pero debian 9 si que trae soporte para UEFI. Lo que aún no soporta es secureboot, por lo que si ya has deshabilitado el arranque seguro en tu sistema, no deberías tener problemas con debian. Sobre todo si 8.8 te funciona. Luis

En tu comando xrandr debe aparecer el nombre del dispositivo. En el ejemplo de la pagina es LDVS1, ese dato lo obtienes de un xrandr sin mas. Por ejemplo en tu caso VGA debe ser VGA0 o VGA1 quizás.
