Muchas gracias a todos. el firmware es un archivo .bin y tienes ke copiarlo a /lib/firmware y a /lib/firmware$(uname -r) por ke no lo instala solo... saludos -- Dónde está el firmware? en el usb? gracias por contestar no el firmware se encuentra en los fuentes ke compilaste, por ejemplo yo tengo una d-link ke tiene chipset rt73, cuando baje el drivers lo compile e instale y dentro de la carpeta del driver hay otra de nombre firmware, ahi se encuentra el archivo .bin eso es en mi caso, ahora tu tienes ke ver si esta en el tuyo, ke es lo mas probable saludos -- Carlos Albornoz C. El kernel es el 2.6.24.3
