1. Accounting Technical Advisor

Job Description:

Scope: The position will operate under established agency objectives to provide 
good stewardship through promoting accurate and timely financial reporting, 
maximize the efficient use of World Relief resources, and provide financial and 
technical support to World Relief’s microfinance institution in the Democratic 
Republic of Congo, Hekima. Major responsibilities will include training finance 
staff to analyze and process monthly financial information, and to monitor 
compliance with local accounting principles and reporting requirements, World 
Relief and Hekima’s financial policies and procedures, donor regulations and 
account analysis as required. 


2. CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

JOB SUMMARY 
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will manage Urwego Opportunity Microfinance 
Bank, the merger of the recently created microfinance bank and an established 
Rwandan microfinance institution with approximately 140 employees and over 
28,000 clients. The CEO recruitment process will also be vetted through 
Opportunity International. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will manage Urwego Opportunity Microfinance 
Bank (UOMB), the merger of the recently created microfinance bank and an 
established Rwandan microfinance institution with approximately 140 employees 
and over 28,000 clients. UOMB is headquartered in Kigali, the capital city of 
Rwanda. The newly created merged entity will, at the appropriate time, change 
its focus to a ‘savings-led' bank focused on mobilizing deposits from the 
economically active poor in addition to offering loans and other financial 
products. The bank has potential to serve 50,000 families annually as well as 
offer insurance to 250,000 individuals within five years. 

3. Human Resources Assistant

Job Description:

Major Accountability: 
Under the direction of the HR Manager, responsible for the following 
administrative support functions and tasks: employee record keeping and 
benefits & compensation administration. Maintains both manual and automated HR 
records, collects and compiles confidential HR statistics and prepares reports. 
Furnishes HR information to authorized personnel and provides guidance to 
employees regarding HR procedures. 


4. Livelihoods Coordinator

Job Description:

GENERAL FUNCTION: 
The Livelihoods Coordinator will be responsible for the development and 
implementation of the GRA Chad Livelihoods Program in Chad. The Livelihoods 
Coordinator will carry out his responsibilities as part of a multi-sectoral 
team. He will collaborate closely with local communities and authorities, and 
relevant Government Departments, UN agencies, and NGOs, and embrace the core 
values of the GRA in meeting the most urgent needs of the population in the 
target areas. This position requires a professional who understands general 
food security needs, local market systems and agricultural issues amongst rural 
populations, and is able to determine the most appropriate interventions for 
the circumstances, ranging from Cash for Work to suitable localized 
agricultural interventions. 


5. Web Manager 
Job Type:  Full-Time

Job Description:

General Function: To manage, maintain, and develop a complex organizational 
website. A member of the communications team, the webmaster must be able to 
think creatively about emerging technologies, website organization and respond 
to a wide range of requests for updating and adding information. 


6. Public Health Officer

Location:  Darfur, Sudan /canada
Job Description:

General Function: The Public Health Officer (PHO) will be responsible for the 
development and implementation of the World Relief/ Global Relief Alliance GRA 
public health and hygiene promotion program in Darfur. The PHO will carry out 
responsibilities as part of a multi-sectoral team. He/she will collaborate 
closely with local communities and authorities, and relevant Government 
Departments, UN agencies, and NGOs, and embrace the core values of the GRA in 
meeting the most urgent needs of the population in the target areas.
