Hi there,
what is the current status of this ITP?
As this ITP is open since Dec 2007 and the package is still not
available in Debian it seems like there is still a lot to do? Is
there still someone committed to bringing sphinxsearch into Debian?
Thanks,
Christian

I am following the advice on this bug [2] report to setup the GMA 500
with the ppa ubuntu drivers on squeeze.
See [1] for some comments, vesa driver setup, and further references.
In my setup, I had X running at 1366x768 with the vesa driver, using a
patched grub-pc to support the GMA500.
I have
any news since the last week? didn't check out ubuntu's packages, but do
they require major work to be a proper fit for Debian?

Dear packagers,
I was wondering if you had made any progress
so far in packaging this application. I know that people at BioLinux
(NEBC) have successfully packaged it and made it available in their
repos, even if they have provided a 32 bit version only. Maybe they

Hi,
it would be very nice if we could maintain the package together. I
checked out your git repo, and i will now start to put my debian/* stuff
in there. The question for me is just... where ;)? 'pristine-tar' is new
for me. Until now i just checked out the master branch, created a branch
