Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

Hello,

I don't use dar anymore, and as such am finding it hard to maintain and
efficiently coordinate efforts with upstream. As such am looking for
somebody who can give it the attention it deserves.

dar is a replacement for tar, written in C++, that has features designed
to make is especially useful for backups.

Upstream links:

http://dar.linux.free.fr/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dar/

Pros:

* Responsive upstream maintainer.
* Simple package.
* Few bugs. 4 bugs, 2 marked will not fix.

Cons:

* sourceforce/CVS.
* Most bugs reported to Debian BTS are upstream bugs.
* Some bugs can be complicated to to understand.
