Those patches make sure the keyboard work properly. You'll have varying
degrees of success without them unfortunately. But it should build and
work somewhat even without them.

I am reworking the keyboard handling into something that's less
invasive in FLTK and that should be accepted upstream. Test branch here:

Bug#700556: I intend to adopt the package

2014-09-04 Thread Gianfranco Costamagna
Hi,

Since nobody stepped up for adopting it I did some work.

I updated it to the latest upstream release, updated the debian packaging,
fixed some lintian warnings and took care of the build system.

The copyright file should be now up-to-date, and I uploaded the new package on
mentors
http://mentors.debian.net/package/wapiti

have many thanks,

Gianfranco

I am reworking the keyboard handling into something that's less
invasive in FLTK and that should be accepted upstream. Test branch here:

 https://github.com/CendioOssman/tigervnc/tree/xhandlers

and just to keep things moving:

- thanks to Julien Cristau we now have xorg configure params exported so
we can use them (I only disabled xwayland extension)

- I have rewritten pristine-tar commits for 1.3.1 (removed contrib/ with
  tarballs of xserver etc)

- pushed everything to alioth (force pushed pristine-tar and upstream/1.3.1 tag)
xserver116 patch I quickly cooked up is not 'sufficient' (build fails
and I didn't dig) and there is now
  https://github.com/TigerVNC/tigervnc/pull/26
which should supersede my humble attempt

if someone has some time to push it a bit more forward -- please take over ;)

cited articles, or get a document's related data at the click of a
 button.

Various extensions provide links to blogs, online data sources and to
social media sites so you can see what other researchers have been
saying about not only the article you're reading but its subject
 matter too.

I'm not shure if Julian's kernel work will be completed in the near future.

I'll suggest that by occasion.

I've checked the files again and added discovery/minusconf.py to
deb/copyright.

the sourc epacakge contain already build documentation.
for exemple the
doc/_static directory contain .js code which is part of sphinx, you should
indicate this in the copyright file.
Or better ask the upstream to remove this prebuild documentation.

Added copyright info for doc/_static/sidebar.js.

 what about _static/copybutton.js ?

Can't find anything special on this (among other packages only to be
found in python{2.7,3.2}-doc [1]), so I suggest we just leave it out
(contains no copyright info, whatsoever)

Not very clean the tarball. Added to the list of comments.

Added _template/globaltoc.html to deb/copyright, contains a copyright

I'll add that to the comments list. The license matches, though.

* In scoop/backports a few files where copyed from python something can you

   exemple: ./backports/runpy.py

dictconfig.py: added that to deb/copyright, the old Python license is

runpy.py: no copyright and no date are given. I've researched the year

thanks for your efforts.

Bug#760495: ITP: node-faye-websocket -- standards-compliant WebSocket library for Node.js

Owner: Tim Retout dioc...@debian.org

  Version : 0.7.2
  Upstream Author : James Coglan jcog...@gmail.com (http://jcoglan.com/)
* URL : http://github.com/faye/faye-websocket-node
* License : Expat
  Programming Lang: JavaScript
  Description : standards-compliant WebSocket library for Node.js

This is a general-purpose WebSocket implementation extracted from the Faye
project. It provides classes for easily building WebSocket servers and
clients in Node. It does not provide a server itself, but rather makes it
easy to handle WebSocket connections within an existing Node application. It
does not provide any abstraction other than the standard WebSocket API.
 .
It also provides an abstraction for handling EventSource connections, which
are one-way connections that allow the server to push data to the client.
They are based on streaming HTTP responses and can be easier to access via
 proxies than WebSockets.
 .
 Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.

I will maintain this as part of the Javascript team. It is a dependency
of Pump.io, via sockjs. See:

Bug#760188: ITP: scoop -- concurrent parallel programmming library

2014-09-04 Thread PICCA Frederic-Emmanuel
Hello

  what about _static/copybutton.js ?

Can't find anything special on this (among other packages only to be
found in python{2.7,3.2}-doc [1]), so I suggest we just leave it out
 (contains no copyright info, whatsoever)

look at here and add the same thing in the copyright file.

http://sources.debian.net/src/python-numpy/1:1.8.2-2/debian/copyright/

 Added _template/globaltoc.html to deb/copyright, contains a copyright
 header.

I can not find it in the current git repo 20:17 UTC+1

dictconfig.py: added that to deb/copyright, the old Python license is
 researched.

this file is an old copy of a file which is part of python-logutils.
It seems that the license is BSD-3 on the new vesion. but the version of scoop
is older.

http://sources.debian.net/src/python-logutils/0.3.3-2/logutils/

maybe the upstream should use this package instead of embeding this copy...
except if they have done some modifications.
Maybe they should use the latest version.

runpy.py: no copyright and no date are given. I've researched the year
and added the source for the info. Can't tell if this entry is
 problematic, but cme-check doesn't complain.

can you ask the upstream where he took this file.

the problem is not cme-check but to do our best to simplify the load of the
ftp-master team

If you need to find files do not hesitate to use

codesearch.debian.net (this is a fantastic service for copyright digging :)

 Further comments welcome.

here it is :)

Setup for autopkgtest is coming up.

I cannot wait :)

cheers

Frederic

Bug#760507: O: symlinks -- scan/change symbolic links

2014-09-04 Thread Sven Joachim
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I intend to orphan the symlinks package.

The package description is:
Symlinks scans directories for symbolic links and lists
them on stdout. Each link is prefixed with a classification
of relative, absolute, dangling, messy, lengthy or other_fs.
 .
Symlinks can also convert absolute links (within the same filesystem)
to relative links and can delete messy and dangling links.

Thanks for further stuff, this is going to be a hardened deb/copyright.
Won't do no harm with the FTP people.

Bug#760529: ITP: python-osprofiler -- OpenStack cross-project profiling

2014-09-04 Thread Thomas Goirand
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Thomas Goirand z...@debian.org

* Package name: python-osprofiler
  Version : 0.3.0
Upstream Author : OpenStack Development Mailing List
openstack-...@lists.openstack.org
* URL : https://github.com/stackforge/osprofiler
* License : Apache-2.0
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : OpenStack cross-project profiling

OpenStack consists of multiple projects. Each project, in turn, is composed of
multiple services. To process some request, e.g. to boot a virtual machine,
OpenStack uses multiple services from different projects. In the case something
works too slowly, it's extremely complicated to understand what exactly goes
wrong and to locate the bottleneck.
 .
To resolve this issue, we introduce a tiny but powerful library,
osprofiler, used by all OpenStack projects and their python clients. To be
able to generate one trace per request, that goes through all involved
services, and builds a tree of calls (see an example
 http://pavlovic.me/rally/profiler/).
