Bug#782436: ITP: pyomo -- Python Optimization Modeling Objects

2015-04-12 Thread Daniel Stender
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Daniel Stender deb...@danielstender.com

* Package name: pyomo
  Version : 4.0.9682
  Upstream Author : William E. Hart
* URL : http://pyomo.org
* License : BSD
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : Python Optimization Modeling Objects

Pyomo is a tool for writing and analyzing optimization
models. It could be compared to algebraic modeling languages
(AML) [1], but has the advantage of having its objects
within the Python environment. A example of finding
optimal daily fantasy leagues is on the net here [2].

Pyomo features public modules, but these are for writing
the models [3]. So it would belong to the PAPT. A
prerequisite for a Pyomo package is PyUtilib.

Cheers,
DS

  Programming Lang: Javascript

  Description : Javascript library that enables the automatic resizing of
iframes

This library enables the automatic resizing of the height and width of
both same and cross domain iFrames to fit the contained content. It uses
postMessage to pass messages between the host page and the iFrame and
when available MutationObserver to detect DOM changes, with a fallback
to setInterval for IE8-10.
.
The code also detects browser events that can cause the content to
resize; provides functions to allow the iFrame to set a custom size and
close itself. Plus it supports having multiple iFrames on the host-page
and additionally provides for the sending of simple messages from the
iFrame to the parent page.
.
For security, by default the host-page automatically checks that the
origin of incoming messages are from the domain of the page listed in
the src property of the iFrame.

Greetings,
xakz

  Description : Javascript library that turns a normal HTML list into a
tree view

Long nested lists on web pages can be difficult to understand,
especially if the visitor must scroll to see the entire list. The tree
view, a user interface widget that displays hierarchical data as nested
lists, solves this problem by making lists collapsible and expandable; a
list can be opened by or closed by clicking on its parent list
item. CollapsibleLists is a JavaScript object that turns a normal HTML
list into a tree view. Click on the items with plus and minus icons to
expand and collapse their lists.

Bug#782441: ITP: rkt -- CLI for running App Containers

Bug#755897: ITP: alfred -- Almighty Lightweight Fact Remote Exchange Daemon

2015-04-12 Thread Elena ``of Valhalla''
Hello

any news on the status of this? I'm trying to use debian (instead of
OpenWRT) on my ninux (italian community network) node and having
alfred would be quite useful.

P.S. I've noticed that somebody from FreiFunkNord already did some
packaging (outside debian, it seems): do you know about it?

I presume that Alfred was already packaged independently
by a handful of people, including myself ;) I would not want
to maintain the package for Debian but can perform the upload(s)
until a repective person is found. Can we (as in both the Debian
and Freifunk communities) win you as a package maintainer?

Best,

Bug#782448: ITP: telepathy-gabble-legacy -- Jabber/XMPP connection manager (legacy branch)

2015-04-12 Thread Jonas Smedegaard
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Jonas Smedegaard d...@jones.dk

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

* Package name: telepathy-gabble-legacy
  Version : 0.16.7
  Upstream Author : Collabora Ltd.
* URL : http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/wiki/
* License : LGPL-2.1+
  Programming Lang: C
  Description : Jabber/XMPP connection manager (legacy branch)

 Gabble is a Jabber/XMPP connection manager for the Telepathy framework,
 currently supporting single user chats, multi user chats and voice/video
 calls. Install this package to use Telepathy instant messaging clients
 with Jabber/XMPP servers, including Google Talk and Facebook Chat.
 .
 NB! This is an older legacy branch of Gabble with Tubes API, requires
 for use with Sugar. If you do not need Tubes API then you are strongly
 recommended to instead use the regular telepathy-gabble package.

This package is needed by (all branches of) Sugar, which rely on the
Tubes API no longer provided by mainline telepathy-gabble.

The packaging will be maintained by the Debian Sugar Team - unless the
Debian Telepathy maintainers is willing to take over (hence Cc'ed) :-)

Hi Roelof,

I checked the packaging of limereg with my sponsors hat on. Could you
please provide a pristine-tar branch to enable me (== git-buildpackage)

idea what I'm talking about please ask here.

Kind regards
