If anyone is truly interested in this software, they can always re-introduce it (ideally after sarge is out). I would like to maintain that package. The main reason is that, there is no such a clinet on debian yet that can support all the feautures of Gadu-Gadu protocol, whereas gg2 can. I prepared packages, their are available at deb http://metro.lezajsk.info/gg2 ./
