Kernel 2.4 will not even compile with 2.7.2.3, and 2.95.2 is known to be buggy, especially with regard to 'long long' handling on 32-bit platforms. It would be nice if someone could revive 'egcc' from the dead. Actually it should be renamed 'kgcc' for compatibility with Red Hat, Mandrake and Conectiva.
