Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

termwrap is a small shell script to choose appropriate console
terminal according to the locale setting of users.

It is included in potato boot-floppies cvs area, but then
removed for woody because woody boot-floppies uses debootstrap
to generate base system from the packages.

This is required for i18n versino of boot-floppies (at least,
Japanese users need it), and it must be packaged in order to
be included in woody's base system, so I'll package it.

Here is a record from changelog of base-config

base-config (0.69.3) unstable; urgency=low

  * Patch from Matt Kraai <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> to add termwrap to
base-config. There was no other sane place to put it, so we settled on
    here. Closes: #98602

 -- Joey Hess <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Thu, 24 May 2001 14:24:33 -0400

Thanks to the maintainer. termwrap is now provided from base-config
so that user can use translated templates for debconf.

Excuse me, I completely forgot to close this bug.
