Okay. Here's how to regenerate openlogo-nd.xcf.gz:
Start the Gimp. (I'm using v1.2.2.)
Select File/Open... then find and select openlogo-nd.eps. If you have
no local copy, cut-n-paste http://www.debian.org/logos/openlogo-nd.eps
