It crashes even when I switch to VC after it is fully loaded. Note
that the behaviour is very random.
Yesterday I disabled dri in my XF86Config-4 and the crash frequency has
considerably reduced. But it still crashes occasionally. It's quite
anoying.

I've gotten a reply from upstream KDE that the entities are known by
khtml, and that this is very likely a font problem. I'm not sure what
fonts package to reassign this to, and I'm not sure how to find that
out. Can someone in the know

the issue is that the machine is running so incredibly slowly that you

This is SO WRONG ... Xosdefs.h thinks that the presence of a definition
of SX means that it's running on some strange non-POSIX PC Unix clone or
other, and goes into crazy mode. If I rename SX to something else, it's
fine.
