Actually, by setting it to off the translucency isn't pink anymore (with
OpenGL backend) but it doesn't look like with Xrender either.
NB : 1px white line is displayed both in console X

following the bug reports). After you have started X, can you login
from some other computer with ssh and run sudo strace -p $(pidof X)
-o X.strace -s4096 -f -tt? Then do something to trigger the bug but

ever since the moment I upgraded to the +legacy version of the Intel
driver package, my X11 would sometimes get into a weird state where
message box text would be the wrong color, my panel would stop
