Root cause of this bug is described here:

inputproto recently *dropped* from 19 to 17 events, which is probably
why you noticed it on the same client/xserver machine.

Summary: The 815em is broken under various versions of X, but upgrading
the kernel i810 module causes GL to work (and
I've been seeing this same problem for ages, and upgrading to 4.3 has
not fixed it. Tuxracer, Blender, etc., all scrunch up into the top half
of the screen if DRI is enabled. (Yes, it looks like it's probably a
pitch problem.)
