I can confirm this (or a very similar) bug is also happening on a HP Compaq 6715b with the fglrx driver (it never happened before, while still using the default Lenny radeon driver). After a suspend to RAM or a hibernate, resuming works OK, but then the machine freezes upon logging out (when the GDM login screen is displayed). Adding a file into /etc/pm/config.d containing the line
SUSPEND_MODULES="fglrx" doesn't seem to help a bit.
