Bug#499018: New upstream version.
Hi, I checked this patch just today, and it seems that it doesn't work. I tried the recent 1.7.0 version (used the tarball), some good job has been done as stated in the changelog, i just need to specify the driver and to not use the bios, then i get no more vt blanking or multiple mouse cursors. I played a bit with the different options available, so i join the most minimal xorg.conf changes you need from the one generated by xserver-xorg. Despite that, it's still not usable with the default xorg.conf, i get a similar log to the one i posted before. Regards. François. xorg.conf Description: Binary data

Not only russian, but any layout without third level (e.g. us) breaks these layouts too.
