After installing the newest Mesa, with Gallium3D enabled, I can play
Braid without crashes.
Hi Alex,
what was the status with 7.10-2? Was it crashy then? Since r600
gallium is failing on a number of cards, we're planning to get back to
r600 classic
Hello,
Thanks for your report and your patch.
I'm getting the changes to the driver done by Cyril and I'll test your
patch.
It really looks like a regression at upstream r888, I'll report it
upstream.
Thanks again !

Hi Cyril,
7.10-3 is the first version of Mesa which didn't freeze the machine
running Braid, and 7.10-2 did crash. I see 7.10-4 is available but I
didn't try it yet.

Upgrading to 7.10-4 shouldn't anything. You'll probably want to stick

Hi.
I've started usign Debian a few days ago, and enjot it very much.
However, it's quite annoying that I have to reboot a few times a day ...
After Googling, I've foudn the following information:

Patch #269 - 2011/02/19
* build-fixes for imake (report by Heiko Berges).
* modify autoconf macro CF_PKG_CONFIG to work with cross-compile
environments (patch by Thierry Reding).
* modify MapToColorMode() to favor bold over underline,
Hi,
Thanks Kibi. Changing /etc/modprobe.d/*kks.conf was fine. Now it works.
I had forgotten it was a built-by-user kernel; otherwise I'd asked
differently than via BTS.
Sincerely,
Jean-Philippe MENGUAL
