I can confirm that uninstalling the xserver-xorg-video-intel and using the modesetting driverfixed the issue. PS: And removing a custom config file that caused the any other driver from failing to load. ie: /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/BLAH.conf On Sat, 2020-05-02 at 00:27 +, Debian Bug

I have the same or very similar issue (see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=959400 ) And I can confirm that uninstalling the xserver-xorg-video-intel and using the modesetting driver fixed the issue for me. PS: And removing a custom config file that caused the any other
